Choice of a roofing system is important. Roofs  can have a standing seam metal panel (hidden fasteners) or standard ribbed panels (visible fasteners). Buildings that are heated and cooled would do well with an underlayment of OSB (Oriented Strand Board), roofing felt or bubble wrap.
